Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4 1954), is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara is the recipient of several awards, including a Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was appointed an Officer of Canada. In 2020 she received the Governor General’s Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara first became known for her acting in the year 1974, while she was a part of The Second City in Toronto. Together with John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the primary casting in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara began working alongside Candy in Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara was praised for her stand-up and writing abilities, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was appointed to the Second City artistic advisory panel in 2022 by Stephen Colbert. She was a former political candidate, as a host from the US at MSNBC and a frequent contributor of The Huffington Post, former co-host and host of the show The Hill's Rising along with Saagarenjeti.
