Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously was a part of the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013-2015) and as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns to CNN from 2017 to 2020. Psaki began her career with the 2001 re-election campaigns Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack who were both Democrats running for U.S. Senate. Psaki became John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki also served as communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and was the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was named press secretary for President Obama's 2012 election campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. [20] There was speculation that Psaki would replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. She was appointed Communications Director in the White House and continued to continue to do so until the end in 2015.
